The village of Latian in the commune of Sapouy now has a football training center (CFFL). The player presentation ceremony took place on Sunday April 30, 2023 in Latian in the presence of the special delegation from Sapouy.

The promoter of the Latian football training center (CFFL), Théophile Nébié, who is also program manager for Loudon de Sapouy radio, is the pride of his village and his commune.

IT officially opened its CFFL on April 30, 2023, which had been functional since last December. The idea of the creation of the infrastructure was born from its vocation to bring its touch to the influence of football in the province.

The ceremony was chaired by the president of the special delegation of Sapouy, François Kaboré and sponsored by Evariste Diasso.

It brought together the administrative and political authorities, the sons and daughters of Ziro province, despite the security context.

It is the junior category which is privileged, the CFFL has already recruited around thirty players aged under 17.

The provincial director of Sport and Recreation, Jean Pierre Ouédraogo has shown himself available to support the center on the administrative and supervisory levels.

The sponsor of the ceremony, Evariste Diasso is committed to better support the center for its proper functioning.

Mr. Diasso advised his younger brother to arm himself with courage, because according to him, the first moments of life at the center will not be easy.

The president of the special delegation of Sapouy, François Kaboré, for his part, welcomed the vision of the promoter and expressed his gratitude to the customary authorities of the village of Latian for the realization of the center.

He also urged the population to support the CFFL for its smooth running for the benefit of the village.

“Football no longer only feeds its man, but can feed a village or even a municipality”, he said.

It should be noted that the province of Ziro does not have any footballer in the national championship, nor outside the country.

To better achieve his ambition, the promoter of the center, Théophile Nébié asked for the support of all those of good will for the construction of a borehole and a room equipped with equipment, a video projector to better supervise the children.

A football match was organized for the occasion and the score is 3 goals to 0 in favor of the players of the FC Latian team of the football center.
