Ziro: It was in a studious and solemn atmosphere that the written and oral exams for the Brevet d’€š¬…¡¬‚¬¦¡¬‚¬Å¡¬¦¡¬°tudes du Premier Cycle (BEPC) and the Certificat d’Aptitude Professionnelle (CAP) were officially launched this Tuesday morning at the Sapouy provincial high school, like other centers across the country.
According to Burkina Information Agency, for this 2025 session, 1,684 candidates are registered for the BEPC in the province, including 757 boys and 927 girls. They are divided into seven juries covering 12 secondary schools, spread across the entire province. As for the CAP, 40 candidates are competing this year, including 33 boys and 7 girls. This center is attached to the commune of L©o.
The starting signal was given by the Secretary General of the province, Adams Davou, who officially opened the first envelope containing the dictation subject. A slight decrease in the number of candidates compared to the previous year was noted.
The administrative, educational, security, and customary authorities have ensured that all conditions are met for the smooth running of the examinations in compliance with the principles of transparency, fairness, and serenity. According to the Provincial Directorate of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training, no major difficulties were recorded for this session.
