Ziniar©: A Fully Equipped Ambulance Delivered to the Regional Hospital

Ziniar©: The Oubri Regional Special Delegation handed over a medical ambulance to the Ziniar© Regional Hospital Center (CHR) on Tuesday, in order to strengthen patient care and evacuations. Costing an estimated 41,300,000 FCFA, the ambulance was officially received on the hospital premises, in the presence of the Minister of Health, Dr. Lucien Robert Kargougou, as well as health and administrative authorities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of the Regional Special Delegation, Hadja Assetou Sy Barry/Traor©, stated that this allocation aims to improve access to healthcare for the population. She indicated that a medically equipped ambulance makes it possible to provide initial first aid and increase the patients' chances of survival.

The Minister of Health praised the leadership of the Regional Special Delegation, stressing that this ambulance will help alleviate the needs of the Ziniar© Regional Hospital Center, particularly for evacuations to higher level health facilities. He recalled that, from 2022 to 2026, the Oubri Regional Special Delegation invested more than 160 million FCFA in the local health sector. Dr. Kargougou finally called on the CHR officials to rigorously manage this equipment for the benefit of the population.
