Harare – The Zimbabwean government has decided to continue the use of foreign currencies until December 31, 2030.

According to Africa News Agency,, this decision comes after previously announcing that the multi-currency system, which has been in place since 2019, would end in 2025. The initial announcement had generated uncertainties in the banking sector, leading some banks to halt the issuance of loans extending beyond 2025.
