Yatenga/CCP: COPROSUR discusses the humanitarian situation

The Provincial Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation Council (COPROSUR) held on Tuesday September 12, 2023 in Ouahigouya, its second session of the consultation framework of the year on the humanitarian situation and capacity building of its members.
Taking stock of the humanitarian situation in the Yatenga province, presenting the missions and role of the Provincial Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation Council (COPROSUR) and that of internally displaced students were the main axes of the Provincial Consultation Framework ( CCP), held on Tuesday September 12, 2023 in Ouahigouya.
For the president of COPROSUR, also high commissioner of the Yatenga province, Tasséré Nacoulma, the ministry in charge of Humanitarian Action, through COPROSUR, is working to improve the living conditions of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
‘At the start of the school year, the major concern is the education of displaced students,’ he stressed.
To this end, Mr. Nacoulma invited all participants to a patriotic burst for the success of the objectives of COPROSUR for the happiness of the populations.
As a reminder, the Northern region occupies third place after the Center-North and the Sahel with 256,060 IDPs as of March 31, 2023 according to CONASUR data.
