Accra: Chinese President Xi Jinping’s special envoy Hao Mingjin is set to attend the inauguration of Ghanaian President-elect John Dramani Mahama in the capital city of Accra on January 7. This announcement was made by foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun on Monday.



According to Namibia Press Agency, Hao Mingjin, who serves as the vice chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, will be traveling to the Republic of Ghana at the invitation of the Ghanaian government. This visit underscores the diplomatic relations between China and Ghana, reflecting China’s support and collaboration with African nations.
