Xi’s Special Envoy to Attend Ecuadorian President’s Inauguration

Quito: At the invitation of President of the Republic of Ecuador Daniel Noboa, Chinese President Xi Jinping's special envoy, Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng, will attend President Noboa's inauguration in Quito, capital of Ecuador, on May 24, a foreign ministry spokesperson announced on Wednesday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the announcement comes as part of efforts to bolster diplomatic relations between China and Ecuador. The presence of a high-level Chinese delegation underscores the importance of the relationship and the potential for collaboration between the two nations in various sectors.

President-elect Daniel Noboa will be taking office amidst expectations of strengthening ties with key international partners. The participation of China's special envoy in the inauguration ceremony highlights the mutual interest in fostering cooperation and exploring new avenues of partnership.
