BRAZIL: Chinese President Xi Jinping has been a prominent advocate for the Group of Twenty (G20), urging member nations to embrace their roles as major international and regional players in promoting global development and well-being. As leaders gather for the 19th G20 summit in Brazil, the world anticipates China’s strategies for addressing current global uncertainties.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the G20 has historically played a pivotal role in steering the global economy through crises, such as the 2008 financial meltdown and the recent COVID-19 pandemic. Under Xi’s leadership, China has actively participated in these efforts, calling for enhanced international policy coordination and reduction of trade barriers to stabilize global industrial and supply chains.
