Xi Chairs CPC Leadership Meeting to Review Work Regulations on Decision Making

Beijing: The Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee convened on Monday to review a set of regulations concerning the work of the Central Committee’s decision-making, deliberative, and coordinating institutions. Xi Jinping, the general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, led the meeting.



According to Namibia Press Agency, the meeting highlighted the regulations’ role in standardizing the establishment, responsibilities, and operations of the CPC Central Committee’s institutions. These regulations are significant for improving top-level design, coordination, integrated advancement, and implementing major initiatives.



The meeting underscored the necessity for these institutions to provide effective leadership and coordination over significant tasks. They should focus on planning, discussion, and oversight. In-depth research is deemed essential for enhancing decision-making and deliberation quality, alongside proposing practical policy measures.



The meeting also stressed the importance of avoiding formalism and bureaucratism, emphasizing the need for tangible results.
