Bourasso: Women from Bourasso were trained this Saturday, January 17, 2026, in crafting liquid soap, Kabakourou soap, and yogurt to meet the needs of their families.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this initiative was spearheaded by Fulbert Zida, continuing efforts from 2023 where he organized similar workshops for internally displaced women in D©dougou.

Zida revealed that the products from this training session will be donated to the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) in Bourasso, acknowledging their dedication to maintaining community safety. He emphasized that this training was self-funded as part of his commitment to support women from resettled villages.

The initiative was met with enthusiasm from the community, as expressed by women's leader T¨n¨ Zoumbara. She highlighted the importance of the skills acquired through the training in helping them sustain their families. Zoumbara also extended her gratitude to Zida and appealed for further assistance from benevolent individuals to provide the necessary equipment for their ventures post-training.
