According to Burkina Information Agency:ccording to Burkina Information Agency, the Wayiyans of Nahouri, hailing from the five municipalities of the province, aimed to contribute to the activities organized in honor of the 24th promotion of the Academy’s officer cadets. The group focused on cleaning the city by removing solid waste and clearing the gutters to prepare for the President’s visit.

“We have decided to make the city clean by ridding it of solid waste and cleaning the gutters to welcome the President of Faso, who will be in P´ as part of the outing of the Academy’s active officer cadets,” stated Arouna Gomgnimbou, the provincial coordinator of the citizen watch group, the “Wayiyans” of Nahouri.

At the conclusion of the sanitation day, Gomgnimbou encouraged the members to stay mobilized until the event takes place and to extend a warm welcome to the President. He expressed hope that the local population would support the patriotic actions initiated by the President of Faso.
