Ouagadougou: Three Junior Stallions, Issouf Dabo, Mohamed Zongo, and Ysso Bama, have been included in the best eleven of the group stages of the West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU-B) tournament, qualifying for the U20 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN).

According to Burkina Information Agency, in this best XI, besides the three Junior Stallions, there are also three U20 Elephants (Konand Eloye), two Nigerians (Alfred and Ad©l©k©), one Togolese (Gband©), one Ghanaian (Nkrumah), and one Nigerien (Youssouf). This best XI was selected by coaches from WAFU-B in both groups (A and B) following the group stage of the competition.

In Group A, Ivory Coast (1st) and Niger (2nd) qualified for the semi-finals, while in Group B, Burkina Faso (1st) and Nigeria (2nd) also qualified. These semi-finals will be played on August 5th and will pit Burkina Faso against Niger and Ivory Coast against Nigeria.
