The lawyers of Vincent Dabilgou who deported yesterday Tuesday, justified their act on Wednesday by the “persecutions” carried out against the former Minister of Transport, accused among other things of embezzlement of public funds.

According to Me Christophe Birba, the telephone exchanges between the defense and Mr. Dabilgou were recorded, synthesized and added to the file.

According to the lawyer, this flouts the basic principles of justice, the rule of law and democracy.

In the opinion of Me Ambroise Farama, all lawyers and litigants should protest against this action.

In addition to Me Birba, the TGI Ouaga 1 is not competent to judge a litigant of the High Court of Justice, because Vincent Dabilgou is prosecuted for acts committed during his management of the Ministry of Transport.

The third level of “persecution”, according to Me Birba, is the “arbitrary detention” of the former minister under the order of a “non-competent court”.

The trial was adjourned to Monday March 27, 2023 before the TGI Ouaga 1.
