Pouni: The Villy public primary school, located in the commune of Pouni, officially closed the 2025-2026 school year on Friday, July 10, celebrating excellence (100% in the CEP 2026) in the establishment. This ceremony, marked by solemnity and fervor, was an opportunity for the educational community to celebrate excellence and reward the efforts of the learners.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this end of the year was marked by a strong mobilization of customary authorities, parents of students, and local education stakeholders. The representative of the village chief of Villy praised the vitality of the establishment before expressing wishes of success for all the children.
This dynamic was also highlighted by the chairman of the School Council and the representative of the Association for the Development of Villy Tiokoyan (ADeViT), who congratulated the teachers for their dedication throughout the year. The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the educational report by the school's director, Barth©l©my Nana.
The results were impressive, as the school achieved a 100% pass rate on the Primary School Leaving Certificate (CEP) exam in 2026, with all 41 candidates passing. The announcement was met with a round of applause from the audience. Present at this celebration, the representative of the Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB), Boukari Tiemtor©, had nothing but praise for the teaching staff.
