Vihiga County Opens Condolence Book for Late Raila Odinga

Vihiga: The Vihiga County government has opened a County Condolence Book to the public in response to the passing of Former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga. The initiative aims to allow residents and well-wishers to express their messages of sympathy and remembrance for the late leader.

According to Kenya News Agency, the County Government has established a condolence desk at the County Headquarters in Mbale. This setup provides an opportunity for the people of Vihiga to join the rest of the nation in mourning and honoring the former Prime Minister. Deputy Governor Wilberforce Kitiezo emphasized the significance of this gesture in recognizing Odinga’s contributions to Kenya’s political and democratic development.

The Condolence Book will be accessible to the public daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the seven-day national mourning period. Members of the public are encouraged to visit the County Headquarters to sign the book and pay their respects.
