Vietnam’s Hanoi Nears Annual Visitor Goal with 31 Million Tourists in 11 Months

Hanoi: The Vietnamese capital Hanoi welcomed 30.94 million visitors in the first eleven months of 2025, achieving 99.8 percent of its annual goal and surpassing the previous record set in 2019, local media VnExpress reported Thursday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the city's Department of Tourism recorded about 2.5 million arrivals in November alone. This figure includes over 851,000 international visitors and 1.65 million domestic travelers, highlighting Hanoi's growing appeal as a travel destination.

From January to November, revenue from the tourism sector is estimated at 120.6 trillion Vietnamese dong (about 4.8 billion U.S. dollars). This marks a 21 percent increase year on year, fulfilling 93 percent of the city's financial target for 2025, demonstrating significant economic growth driven by the tourism industry.
