Hanoi: The Vietnamese government has put forward a proposal to allocate nearly 125.5 trillion Vietnamese dong, equivalent to about 5 billion U.S. dollars, for the period between 2026 and 2035 to enhance public health. The proposal was announced on Tuesday, as reported by local daily Dan Tri.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the initiative aims to benefit the entire population, with a specific focus on disadvantaged groups, ethnic minorities, residents of border and island areas, mothers and children, older people, and workers in industrial zones. The government plans to achieve nationwide coverage of electronic health records and implement lifelong health management by 2030. Additionally, the plan seeks to ensure that local health stations are equipped to fully implement procedures for the prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases.
