ONDJOKWE—Justina Kakoto Haihambo, a 98-year-old resident and self-proclaimed prophetess from Ondjokwe village in the Oshikoto Region, passed away at her home on Tuesday morning. Known locally as the “House of God,” her residence became the final place of rest around 09:00, following a prolonged period of illness.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Deputy Commissioner Titus Ekandjo, the Namibian Police crime investigations coordinator for Oshikoto, confirmed the death of Haihambo. It is reported that she had been ill for some time and notably had not sought hospital treatment before her demise. Following her death, her body was transported to the Omuthiya police mortuary where an autopsy is expected to be performed. Haihambo’s family has been notified of the tragic event.
