Solenzo: The provincial coordination of the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP) of the Banwa donated 10 tons of cement to Faso Mªbo, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the prefecture of Solenzo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Volunteers for the Defence of the Homeland of Banwa contributed to support the Faso Mªbo initiative in the construction of the Banwa province, with a donation of 10 tonnes of cement worth 1,186,000 CFA francs. This donation was received by the High Commissioner, Sanfienale Joseph Sirima, in the presence of a delegation from the VDP.

The provincial coordinator of the VDP in Banwa, Martin Kabore, highlighted that this initiative aims to support the authorities in the construction of the province. On the eve of this donation, the active forces of Tansila had also offered cement and construction materials worth 550,000 CFA francs, on Monday, May 11, 2026, for the benefit of Faso Mªbo.

High Commissioner Sanfienale Joseph Sirima expressed his gratitude and congratulated the donors for their gesture. 'I want to congratulate you on this gesture, because in addition to the fight you are waging on the ground, you are contributing to the building of the province. Thank you for this invaluable gesture,' High Commissioner Sirima said to the VDP.
