Saurimo: Agronomist Carlos Camuti said on Thursday in Saurimo, Lunda-Sul province, that the 17th US-Africa Business Summit, taking place in Luanda from the 22nd to the 25th of June, increases the prestige of Angola and the continent in general, demonstrating the potential that the country offers in various areas.
According to Angola Press News Agency, Camuti emphasized the importance of the summit for Angola’s expertise to attract interest from American and African businesspeople, encouraging investment in the country. He pointed out that the event serves as a unique opportunity for Angola to present itself on the global stage, fostering improved business relations between states.
Camuti remarked that the international exposure gained from hosting such an event could transform participants into ambassadors for Angola’s development upon returning to their home countries. He expressed optimism about the summit’s potential to yield positive results for the country’s sustainable development.
The summit, organi
zed by the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) in collaboration with the Angolan government, is anticipated to host 1,500 participants, including government officials and business leaders.
