Istanbul: Russian and U.S. officials will meet in Trkiye's Istanbul on Thursday to discuss the issues concerning the operation of their two countries' embassies, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said here Wednesday at a press conference. Lavrov is currently visiting Qatar, the third leg of his Middle East working trip, with the previous two being Trkiye and Iran.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the meeting between the officials aims to address challenges and facilitate smoother operations of the embassies. The discussion is part of broader diplomatic engagements in the region, with Lavrov's travels highlighting ongoing diplomatic initiatives.
