Lima: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted Northern Peru at 05:17:44 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said. The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 4.03 degrees south latitude and 77.70 degrees west longitude.
