UNITA wants youth aligned with party discipline

Malanje- The acting secretary of UNITA in Malanje, António Luciano, today, Sunday, exhorted the Juventude Unida Revolucionaria de Angola (JURA) to be aligned with party discipline, aiming to strengthen the organization, in view of the country’s upcoming political challenges.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Provincial Preparatory Conference for the 5th ordinary congress of JURA, UNITA’s youth arm, to be held from 15 to 17 March, the politician underlined the need to build a JURA that is increasingly dynamic and up to the expectations of the Angolan youth.

He stressed that youth constitutes the largest fringe of the country’s population, an aspect that the youth wing of the party must pay attention to so that it can guide mobilization policies to strengthen its ranks.

“We want a JURA that does not look at costs, but at value and objectives”, he said, encouraging the organization to consent to sacrifices, in favor of the party’s aggrandizement.

The preparatory Provincial Conference for the 5th JURA Congress began on Saturday morning and ended at dawn today, with the participation of militants from the 14 municipalities of the province and guests from other political parties with parliamentary seats.

The meeting elected 29 delegates to the V JURA Congress, which will take place this year in Luanda, under the motto “Innovate and mobilize to win”.
