Cabinda: The UNITA provincial secretary in Cabinda, Louren§o Lumingo, has acknowledged the efficient and dynamic conduct of the Official Voter Registration Update process in the province. On Wednesday, Lumingo emphasized the provision of adequate services to citizens as he updated his own electoral data through the proof of life procedure.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the political leader highlighted the swift and organized nature of the voter registration process. Lumingo called on technicians at the One-Stop Public Service Desks (BUAP) to continue their responsible and professional conduct, ensuring service provision based on the principle of equal rights for all citizens.
Lumingo further urged UNITA militants to bolster awareness campaigns, encouraging citizens to visit BUAPs in large numbers to update their electoral data. He stressed the importance of participation from citizens who have recently turned 18, as well as those possessing old voter cards or who have lost their documents.
In Cabinda, there are 14 planned stations for the Official Voter Registration Update, with six already operational in the first phase of the process.
