Ouahigouya: Tiiga Group communication and services, in collaboration with Tiiga info and the L©d©a Bernard Ou©draogo University of Ouahigouya (ULBO), organized a significant training conference as part of the Academy of Leaders initiative. The event was held on Saturday, January 24, and was aimed at equipping students with the necessary skills and knowledge for the emergence of new citizens.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the training conference, which followed similar events in Ouagadougou and Fada N'gourma, was centered around the theme "Patriotism, Civic Duty, and Entrepreneurship." The conference featured three notable speakers: Isma«l Ou©draogo, coordinator of the Tiiga Group; Police Commissioner Paul Niki¨ma; and Sadou Ou©draogo, a Professor at Thomas Sankara University in Ouagadougou. These speakers engaged several hundred students with their insights and expertise.
The conference successfully revived a sense of patriotism, civic duty, cohesion, and entrepreneurship among ULBO students. The relevance of the theme encouraged active participation from the students, who expressed their appreciation for the initiative and advocated for the continuation of such exchange forums.
Souleymane Ou©draogo, Vice-President of ULBO in charge of teaching, educational innovations, and professionalization, commended the pertinence of the topics discussed. He emphasized that the conference equipped hundreds of students with emerging values essential for their future roles as citizens.
