ULBO Students Celebrate Graduation Ceremony in Ouahigouya.

Ouahigouya: Students from the 'Ladji Yoro' class at Lédea Bernard Ouédraogo University (ULBO) celebrated a significant milestone as they received their end-of-training diplomas in a ceremony held on Saturday, November 23. This event marked the official graduation of students from six different courses, including classical and applied English, business, mathematics and modeling, environmental technology and sustainable development, applied statistics, and economic forecasting. According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was graced by notable figures such as Tasséré Nacoulma, the high commissioner of the province of Yatenga, representing the governor of the Northern region. The event was presided over by Professor Adama Ouéda, the president of ULBO, with Dr. Steve Léonce Zoungrana serving as the sponsor. Souleymane Targuiguemdé, the class representative, expressed the collective joy of the students, acknowledging the support from the State, their teachers, and parents. "We are happy to receive our pa rchment, it is an opportunity for us to ask the State to help us actively contribute to the development of Faso," he stated during the ceremony. Professor Adama Ouéda highlighted the university's commitment to providing comprehensive education, including entrepreneurship and practical knowledge, to prepare students for future challenges. He emphasized the role of the vice-presidency in charge of business relations, which facilitated students' exposure to external opportunities. Tasséré Nacoulma, on behalf of the Governor, praised the university community and the graduates for their dedication to excellence, contributing to the development of Burkina Faso. The class, named after Soumaïla Ganamé, also known as Ladji Yoro, pays tribute to the brave fighter who symbolized courage and resilience against terrorism in the northern region. Ladji Yoro's legacy continues to inspire the graduates as they step into their future endeavors.
