Ulan Bator—The capital of Mongolia was the backdrop for the finals of the seventh Chinese speech contest for middle school students, emphasizing the growing cultural exchange between China and Mongolia.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the event, named “China-Mongolia Friendship: Promising Youths,” was held on Friday and saw participation from 59 students representing 14 schools across Mongolia. The contest was a collaborative effort between the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia and the Confucius Institute at the National University of Mongolia, aimed at fostering deeper understanding and relations between the two nations.
Ganbat Bulgantamir, an 11th grader from the Confucius Classroom at Yucai Chinese School in Ulan Bator, clinched the top spot with her speech “China Through My Eyes,” showcasing the perspective of Mongolian youth on China’s culture and development. The contest provided a platform for students to express their views and enhance their linguistic skills, contributing to stronger friendship ties through educational and cultural exchanges.
