Uganda Awarded ‘Global Investment Catalyst’

Kampala: Uganda has been recognized as a ‘Global Investment Catalyst,’ a testament to its robust economic growth and investment potential. This distinction highlights the country’s position as a leading economy in East Africa and an attractive destination for investors.

According to Africa News Agency, In 2021, the World Bank reported that Uganda remained the fastest-growing economy in the East Africa Community (EAC), with a GDP exceeding $40.4 billion. Additionally, Oxford Economics identified Uganda as the third most rewarding economy for investment in Africa. These reports underscore Uganda’s economic dynamism and its appeal to global investors, reinforcing its status as a key player in the region’s economic development.
