Uanivi Attributes Epukiro Secondary School Performance to Early Planning

Epukiro: Following the announcement of the 2025 Grade 12 results, Epukiro Secondary School Principal Sagarias Bigman Uanivi has attributed his school's stellar performance to early planning and strict adherence to annual goals. The Post 3-based institution secured fourth place among the 10 best-performing schools at the national level for the 2025 academic year.

According to Namibia Press Agency - English, Uanivi told Nampa that annual plans must be implemented as early as January and continuously monitored to ensure their effectiveness. "Our school doesn't do anything special besides focusing on the plans we put in place. As a school, we have to revisit them if they are not working," he said. Uanivi further expressed his gratitude to fellow staff members and the school administration for their tireless efforts throughout the year.

"I have to compliment all the traditional leaders in Epukiro, constituency councillor Pack Pakarae, the Eastern Epukiro Farmers Association, members of the community for their input. The list is endless and I appreciate all your efforts and this achievement is for all of us," he said. He also told Nampa that all 63 learners who sat for the Grade 12 examinations last year passed and are ready to submit applications to various tertiary institutions. "Our Grade 11 also did well as they scooped second position overall in the Omaheke Region," said the principal.

Omaheke Region education director Constance Wantenaar, in her congratulatory message, said Epukiro Secondary School's achievement is remarkable and speaks volumes about the school's commitment to academic excellence. "This success is the result of disciplined learners, dedicated and hardworking teachers, supportive parents, and focused school leadership," she said. Wantenaar added that the regional education directorate is immensely proud of the achievement, which demonstrates that quality education is attainable in every part of the country when collaboration, sustained effort, and high expectations are maintained.

"We commend the entire school community and encourage them to sustain this momentum as they continue to raise the standard of education," Wantenaar said.
