UAE Seeks to Enhance Economic Ties with Burkina Faso

Ouagadougou: The United Arab Emirates is looking to bolster its economic cooperation with Burkina Faso. The President of Faso, Head of State Captain Ibrahim TRAOR€š¬…¡¬°, met with Sheikh Shakbout Bin Nahyan AL NAHYAN, the Minister of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, during a friendship and working visit to Ouagadougou.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the purpose of the meeting was for Sheikh Shakbout Bin Nahyan AL NAHYAN to convey fraternal greetings from His Excellency Mohammed ben ZAYED, President of the United Arab Emirates, to President Ibrahim TRAOR€š¬…¡¬°. The discussions focused on exploring ways to enhance economic cooperation between the two nations.

Sheikh Shakbout Bin Nahyan AL NAHYAN expressed his appreciation for the "long-standing and exemplary cooperation" between the UAE and Burkina Faso. He emphasized the mutual benefits and satisfaction this cooperation brings to both countries.

During his visit, Sheikh Shakbout Bin Nahyan AL NAHYAN also expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome extended by the people of Burkina Faso, highlighting the country's hospitality and the positive relations between the two nations.
