BOULGOU: The Youth Association for Development and Social Cohesion of Bittou and the Youth Association for Social Cohesion and Development of Zélézé organized a community cleaning event at the Health and Social Promotion Center in Zélézé. The event, held on October 26, 2024, brought together residents from the villages of Zélézé, Mogomnoré, and Siguinvoussé to participate in the initiative.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the sanitation day aimed to clean the facility and promote good hygiene practices among patients and their companions, particularly in the hospitalization and maternity wards. Seone Alidou, the general secretary of the Youth Association for Development and Social Cohesion of Bittou, emphasized the importance of maintaining hygiene standards within the center.
Hado Sawadogo, president of the Youth Association for Social Cohesion and Development of Zélézé, noted that the event served as a gesture of support for the healthcare staff and the local security forces. The initiative comes
at a time when the village’s population has been resettled, underscoring the community’s commitment to enhancing health and social conditions in the area.
