Oshitudha: Two men have been arrested for allegedly raping a 39-year-old woman with an intellectual disability at Oshitudha village in the Omusati Region. Commander of the Namibian Police Force in the region, Commissioner Ismael Basson, stated that the incident occurred around 22h00 on Monday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the two suspects encountered the victim while she was walking from the nearby shops. 'It's alleged that two suspects grabbed the victim from behind and pushed her to the ground before forcefully having sexual intercourse with her,' Commissioner Basson said.

He added that the matter was reported to the police by a female relative. Police investigations continue.
