Tuy: The mobilization of support for the transition has not weakened despite the rain

Protesters gathered despite the rain this Saturday, July 1, 2023 in Houndé to express their support for the Transition led by Captain Ibrahim Traoré.

The mobilization did not weaken despite the morning rain. The demonstrators stormed the parking area in the city center of Houndé and some on motorcycles, surveyed some arteries of the city.

During the meeting, they expressed their support for the Transition, its policy of combating terrorism and its political, administrative and institutional reforms.

“The objective of this meeting is to support the new constitution in line with the realities of sovereign Burkina Faso,” said the spokesperson for the demonstrators.

The latter also denounced the actions of ECOWAS, the UN and the international community vis-à-vis the transition, which he considers to be against the deep aspirations of the Burkinabe people.
