Tuy/koti commune: The communal coordination of women's organizations in Koti, located in the province of Tuy, took the lead in organizing a sanitation day on Saturday, March 7, 2026. This initiative was organized as part of the activities commemorating International Women's Day.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the women of the municipality actively participated in cleaning their living environment to honor International Women's Day on March 8th. They were joined by young volunteers and the municipal water and sanitation department. Armed with brooms, rakes, and other cleaning supplies, they focused their efforts on several public spaces in the municipality, including the town hall, the Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS), and the market.
Lassinan Dierma, the president of the municipal special delegation, praised the women's commitment and expressed gratitude for their efforts. He extended his wishes for a happy International Women's Day and reaffirmed the municipal authorities' dedication to empowering women within the community.
