Hound©: The final of the 2nd edition of the Hound© Parish Priest's Cup was played on Saturday, May 24, 2025, on the grounds of the Catholic primary school. The Sokoura team won the trophy again, defeating Bou©r© on penalties (3-2) after a draw (1-1) after extra time.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the town of Hound© vibrated this Saturday, May 24, 2025, to the rhythm of the final of the 2nd edition of the Priest's Cup of the parish of Sainte-Th©r¨se de l'Enfant J©sus. Among the six teams involved, those from Sokoura and Bou©r© reached the final. These two teams played an intense and emotional match which ended with a score of 0-0 at the end of regulation time (2 x 20 minutes), then 1-1 after extra time (2 x 10 minutes).

Sokoura finally won the victory on penalties, winning 3 shots to 2. The Sokoura team once again confirms its superiority in this competition. Already victorious in the first edition, Sokoura retains its champion title. The team leaves with the trophy, an envelope, a set of jerseys, and a ball. The Bou©r© team receives the 2nd place trophy, an envelope, a set of jerseys, and a ball. As for the other teams, they each receive an envelope and a ball.

The parish priest of Hound©, Father Dieudonn© Bouna, expressed his satisfaction with the successful organization of this edition. "We had some apprehensions, but thanks to God and our benefactors, we were able to organize this second edition," he said. He emphasized that this final represents a victory for the Christian youth of the parish. He recalled that this edition was placed under the sign of hope. "This is the cup of hope for peace to return to our beloved country, Burkina Faso. We believe that organizing such a competition can help bring peace back to our families and parishes," he added.

The priest also urged young people to become actively involved in the Church and in society. "The future of our country belongs to our youth. Be men and women of peace," he said. As a reminder, the 2nd edition of the Hound© Parish Priest's Cup was organized during the Hound© Parish Youth Days (JPJ) which took place from May 22 to 25, 2025.
