Tuy Baccalaureate 2026 Launch: “We Wish All Candidates Success, But With Integrity and Honesty,” Says High Commissioner

Tuy: The High Commissioner of Tuy, Issiaka Segda, officially launched the written tests for the 2026 baccalaureate session at Tuy Provincial High School. The event took place on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the province has a total of 1,009 registered candidates, with 982 present. This includes 496 girls and 486 boys. Among these candidates, 577 are taking the exam in series D and 405 in series A4.

The official launch occurred at jury 119, located at Tuy Provincial High School, and was attended by the provincial director of secondary education, vocational and technical training of Tuy, Seydou Traor©, along with provincial security authorities.

Jury 119 consists of 225 candidates from series D, distributed across eight examination rooms. In room number 7, authorities encouraged candidates and provided advice before opening the first envelope containing the French exam paper.

Seydou Traor©, the provincial director of secondary education, vocational and technical training in Tuy, urged candidates to refrain from all forms of cheating.

High Commissioner Issiaka Segda also emphasized the importance of honesty and integrity during the exams. "We would not want to record any cases of fraud. We wish all candidates success, but with integrity and honesty," he stated.

Segda extended his best wishes to the candidates and commended the teachers for their support throughout the school year.
