According to Burkina Information Agency, the provincial director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education in Tuy, Ladji Ouattara, expressed satisfaction with the results. He attributed the success to initiatives that began during an education forum held last year in Bobo-Dioulasso. Ouattara commended the teachers, particularly those teaching CM2, for their dedication and also extended his congratulations to the successful candidates. He encouraged those who did not pass to intensify their efforts.
Analysis of the results indicates that seven out of the province’s eight Basic Education Districts (CEBs) achieved a pass rate exceeding 90%, reflecting an improvement compared to the 2024 session. The province’s success rate increased by more than 13 percentage points from the previous year’s 79.19%. This places Tuy at the forefront in the Hauts-Bassins region, surpassing K©n©dougou and Houet.
According to sources close to the provincial directorate responsible for primary education in Tuy, this achievement marks the first time the province has reached such a high level of success in the CEP examination.
