OUAGADOUGOU, Former U.S. President Donald Trump, who is also a Republican candidate in the upcoming presidential election, has declared nuclear weapons the foremost threat facing the United States and the world. During a recent statement, Trump emphasized the catastrophic potential of nuclear arms and the necessity of ensuring they are never used.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the destructive power of nuclear weapons is unparalleled, highlighting the urgency of addressing this issue on both a national and global scale. “This is a destructive force that no one has ever seen, and we must ensure that it is never used,” he stated.



The U.S. presidential election is set for November 5. The Democratic Party will be represented by Kamala Harris, after incumbent President Joe Biden withdrew following the June debate. Harris was officially endorsed at the Democratic Party convention in Chicago.
