Warsaw: US President Donald Trump is expected to visit Poland before the NATO summit in The Hague in June, as stated by Wojciech Kolarski, the head of the Bureau for International Relations of the Office of Polish President Andrzej Duda.
According to Namibia Press Agency, Kolarski revealed that President Andrzej Duda extended an invitation to President Trump to visit Poland prior to the NATO summit. He indicated that there are numerous positive signs suggesting that this proposal is being taken very seriously by the US administration. While expressing optimism about the likelihood of the visit, Kolarski refrained from making an official announcement, choosing instead to wait for the right moment.
Kolarski emphasized the importance of the ongoing communications with President Trump's team, highlighting the strong connections and clear indications that the US president is interested in the visit. The visit is seen as a significant diplomatic engagement ahead of the NATO summit.
NATO has confirmed that the upcoming summit will take place in The Hague from June 24-25, and it will be chaired by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
