Jerusalem: Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Alexis Vafeades, is currently in Israel for a three-day official visit. Vafeades is set to engage in discussions with his Israeli counterpart, Miri Regev, focusing on issues pertinent to their respective ministries.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Ministry announced that Vafeades aims to exchange views with Minister Regev on various matters within their professional competencies. The visit highlights the ongoing collaboration and dialogue between Cyprus and Israel in the realm of transport and communications.
In addition to his meetings with Israeli officials, Vafeades is scheduled to meet with Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem. This meeting signifies the broader scope of his visit, encompassing not only governmental but also cultural engagements.
Minister Vafeades is expected to return to Cyprus on Thursday, concluding his official visit to Israel.
