Training on Conflict Prevention and Management for 100 Women in Public Institutions

In a move towards strengthening peace and security, 100 women from gender units across various state ministries and institutions have been trained in conflict prevention and management. The training, organized by the Ministry in Responsibility for Women through the General Directorate for the Promotion of Women and Gender, aims to integrate the Women, Peace and Security theme into the planning documents of their respective structures.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the training session is part of the Women, Peace and Security Agenda and was supported by the United Nations Development Program. This initiative is expected to enhance the capabilities of Gender Units in contributing towards peace consolidation efforts.
