Traditional Raising of the Colors Ceremony Led by CSC President in Ouagadougou

Ouagadougou: The President of the Higher Council for Communication (CSC), Wendingoudi Louis Modeste Ou©draogo, presided over a national flag-raising ceremony in Ouagadougou on June 2, 2025, marking the first Monday of the month. This event was a moment for unity and the celebration of republican values, with members of the College of Councilors and administrative staff joining together to sing the national anthem as the flag was raised.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony provided an opportunity for President Ou©draogo to review the accomplishments of the past month and outline future prospects. He expressed gratitude to his colleagues for their efforts, noting the significant activities undertaken, particularly in the regulatory field. These included the implementation of decisions, the organization of training workshops, and participation in awareness-raising programs.



President Ou©draogo also addressed the situation of the CSC’s regional delegations. He emphasized that the leadership change at the Western Regional Delegation (DRO) was aimed at revitalizing the entity. He commended the Eastern Regional Delegation (DRE) for its excellent work and initiatives, while also noting the ongoing challenge of needing additional personnel and equipment. Concluding his remarks, President Ou©draogo called on his colleagues to maintain a rigorous and committed attitude in their daily missions.
