Togo to Establish ‘House of Artificial Intelligence’ by 2024

TOGO – Togo is set to establish a ‘House of Artificial Intelligence’ by 2024, marking a significant step in embracing and advancing technological innovation in the country. This initiative reflects Togo’s commitment to positioning itself at the forefront of technological advancements in Africa.

According to Africa News Agency, The official announcement for this groundbreaking project is expected to be made during the AI Week, scheduled to take place from March 19 to 23. Jérôme Ribeiro, President of Human AI, the organization developing the project, expressed that the goal is to position Togo as a leader in the realm of artificial intelligence (AI). He emphasized the nation’s potential to become a focal point for AI expertise, not only in Africa but also on the global stage.

Ribeiro assured that the establishment of the House of Artificial Intelligence would draw attention from around the world to Togo’s expertise in this rapidly evolving field. The initiative aligns with the growing trend of African countries leveraging technology to drive economic growth and innovation.
