Tobias Hainyeko Constituency Records Smooth Election Process

Windhoek: Polling stations in the Tobias Hainyeko Constituency have recorded a smooth and fast election process in the ongoing Regional Councils and Local Authorities Elections. Presiding officer at Dr Frans Aupa Indongo Primary School polling station, Ngumekupe Uzera, reported that some community members arrived as early as 05h00, and the process has been progressing efficiently.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Uzera mentioned that everything has been in order, except for three voters who arrived with voters' cards from the 2020 elections and had to be turned away. France Immanuel, a first-time voter from the constituency, expressed satisfaction in voting for the first time, noting his anticipation of contributing to change.

Immanuel stated that he just arrived and was about to cast his vote, observing that the line was moving quickly and speculating that it might become congested later. He also urged younger community members to participate in the election process.

Additionally, at the Paulus //Gowaseb station in the constituency, presiding officer Albertina Nicodemus reported that since the opening of the station at 07h00, there have been no issues encountered. Nicodemus noted that most community members are well informed about the voting process.
