Third-Term Classes Resume in Burkina Faso Schools: Komsilga A Students Proudly Express Their Commitment to Patriotic Values

Komsilga: The Minister of Basic Education, Literacy and Promotion of National Languages, Jacques Sosth¨ne DINGARA, alongside the Minister of Communication, Pingdwend© Gilbert OUEDRAOGO, participated in the raising of the national Colors at the public primary school of Komsilga A. This event aligns with the national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation, occurring from March 26 to April 9, 2025, and marks the beginning of the third and final quarter of the academic year.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Komsilga, a department and a rural commune in the Kadiogo province located in the Centre region, witnessed a spirited display of patriotism as students of Komsilga A school raised the flag and sang the national anthem in Moor©. Minister Jacques Sosth¨ne DINGARA conveyed the message of the Head of State, His Excellency Ibrahim TRAORE, emphasizing the motto: “For order and discipline, I commit myself.” This return to school is timely, coinciding with the initial phase of the national days of patriotic commitment and civic participation.

Minister DINGARA, addressing the gathering of administrative, educational, and traditional authorities, along with teachers and students, underscored the expectations from students, urging them to uphold discipline, attentiveness, and organization in their studies. He highlighted the importance of environmental respect, particularly during April, and encouraged students to ensure tidiness by collecting all school bags.

Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, Pingdwend© Gilbert OUEDRAOGO, acknowledged the commitment of the students to discipline, emphasizing their role as future citizens. He stressed that the transformation desired in Burkina Faso begins with disciplined and hardworking students, the foundation of basic education. He noted the students’ attire in Faso Danfani or K´k´ donda as a positive response to governmental calls, emphasizing the role of teachers in guiding and ensuring adherence to instructions and guidelines.
