In his address, Mr. Bassi¨re stated that this issue calls upon every Burkinab¨ to address the need to reduce food dependency. According to him, local consumption is not limited to food, but also extends to clothing and cultural practices, through the promotion of national products such as Faso Danfani and K´k´ Donda. Quoting the Head of State, he urged the people to adopt responsible behaviors: "The wise child is the one who buys his mother's cakes," an invitation to favor local products and support the national economy.

He emphasized that the nation's rebuilding largely depends on their efforts in shaping responsible citizens. Addressing the students, he urged them to cultivate the values of discipline, work, and patriotism, while becoming aware of their role in building the Burkina Faso of tomorrow.
Addressing the issue of tax compliance, Mr. Bassi¨re stressed the obligation for each citizen to fulfill their tax duties, an essential condition for endogenous development based on the mobilization of internal resources. The ceremony was welcomed by the participants, who expressed their support for the ideals of economic patriotism and active citizenship promoted by the national authorities. It concluded with a call from the PDS to permanently adopt the messages delivered in order to build a sovereign and prosperous nation.
