Boulgou: The Zonsé town hall organized a municipal meeting on Thursday, February 12, 2026, with the presidents and general secretaries of youth organizations, customary chiefs, and representatives of women's associations, in order to present the Youth Promotion and Professional Integration Service (SPIPJ), newly attached to the General Secretariat of the town hall. According to Burkina Information Agency, this meeting aimed to inform community stakeholders about the existence, missions, and operation of this new service dedicated to supporting youth. During the session, participants were given an official presentation of the SPIPJ and of the agents who work there, followed by a detailed explanation of their roles and responsibilities. The ceremony was presided over by the Secretary General of the Town Hall, Issaka Zongo. The Opportunities and Integration Referents (ROPI) agents, Alima Gambo and Tasseré Ouédraogo, highlighted the strategic importance of the service for the young people of Zonsé, particularly in terms of guidance, training, support towards employment, and the promotion of entrepreneurship. According to municipal officials, the creation of the SPIPJ reflects the authorities' desire to strengthen the mechanisms for the socio-professional integration of young people and to offer a structured framework for listening, advising, and supporting youth initiatives. Participants welcomed the initiative and expressed their willingness to collaborate with the new service to promote greater mobilization of young people and women around the opportunities offered. This meeting thus marks an important step in the dynamic of promoting employment and empowering young people in the municipality of Zonsé.
