Tenkodogo: The Nakambe League receives congratulations from the president of the Burkinabe Football Federation

On the sidelines of the USSU-BF U17 national final held in Tenkodogo, the president of the Burkinabe Football Federation (FBF), Oumarou Sawadogo, accompanied by the general secretary, Boureima Balima, paid a courtesy visit on Friday to the headquarters of the Nakambe Regional League. This visit was an opportunity for the FBF president to congratulate the league officials for the progress made, to encourage referees in training and to reaffirm the federal body's commitment to supporting regional football development initiatives.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the president expressed his intent to visit the league as a gesture of respect, making up for his absence during the inauguration of their headquarters. He also assessed the regional stadium's condition and operations during his stay. At a referee training session, Sawadogo emphasized the critical role referees play in ensuring fair play, likening their responsibilities to that of a doctor's precise diagnosis.

Sawadogo lauded the Nakambe League's dynamic leadership under President Souleymane Lonfo, acknowledging their innovative efforts and successful acquisition of a league headquarters. He assured further support from the Federation to bolster the league's development projects. The Nakambe Regional League representative expressed gratitude for the visit, highlighting it as a recognition of the region's football community and initiatives.

Oumarou Sawadogo announced his intention to return to Tenkodogo to oversee the Nakambe League Cup final, a gesture warmly received by league officials. This visit and the commitments outlined underscore the Federation's dedication to fostering balanced football development across the nation.
