“The Moroccan population gives us space to live like at home” (Cultural Attaché of Burkina Faso in Morocco)

Rabat, March 16, 2023 (AIB)-Present at the cinema la renaissance de Rabat this Wednesday evening to watch the film “Le taxi, le cinema et moi” by Burkinabe director Salam Zampaligré, Burkina Faso’s cultural attaché in Morocco Ms Kambiré/ Somé Elodie confided in the microphone of the special envoy of the AIB.

What is your mission as Burkina Faso’s cultural attaché in Morocco?

We do exhibitions to promote Burkinabè culture here in Morocco. We support our students to expose our cultures during their cultural activities within their Institutes or Universities. They value in particular the clothing of all the communities of Bburkina, they value our local dishes, our way of life.

In what conditions do the Burkinabè live here in the Kingdom of Morocco?

We say thank you to the Moroccan people who welcome us here because we feel at home. The Moroccan population gives us space to live like at home.
