Ouagadougou, (AIB) – The High Commissioner of Banwa accompanied by a delegation, assessed on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 the damage to the Medical Center with surgical antenna of Solenzo, with a view to its next reopening.
After the opening of the doors of the High Commission of Banwa and the prefecture of Solenzo on Monday March 13, 2023, the authorities are hard at work for the reopening of the CMA of Solenzo, closed since the end of August 2022 following the terrorist attacks.
On Tuesday March 14, 2023, the Banwa High Commissioner, CMA staff and the FDS went to the scene.
Recall that the various units of the CMA had been vandalized and the pharmacy looted by terrorists who also removed vehicles and ambulances.
Subsequently, the city was reconquered by the Combatant Forces despite some attempts by the enemy.
The High Commissioner and his delegation toured all the units of the CMA to soak up the material damage.
The district head doctor said that there will be an assessment of the damage and after that work will resume to the happiness of the population.
The High Commissioner invites the various provincial officials to join the locality because according to him the volume of the forces present, shows that the city is secure.
Urban CSPS 1 and 2 were visited by the High Commissioner and his delegation.
The nurses and patients admitted to the various CSPS were encouraged by the High Commissioner.
Residents say they are waiting for this reopening because it will allow care and surgery again.
